2014 Finish Along Q1

Ok, I think, it´s time to define my goals for the next three month. This will be a shorter list, because I have some bigger projects this quarter.

Na gut, ich denke, es ist Zeit, meine "Ziele" für die nächsten drei Monate zu beschreiben. Das wir eine kürzere Liste, da ich ein paar größere Projekte in diesem Vierteljahr habe.

1. My very first point on my list is a quilt - I cannot tell you who is getting this and why, because it could give away the secret. This will be the Domino-Quilt by Cottilello and my bees are going to help me here :).

1. Mein wirklich ersten Punkt ist ein Quilt, wobei ich nicht verraten kann, für wen und zu welchem Anlass er ist. Es wird auf jeden Fall ein Domino-Quilt by Cottilello und meine Bees werden hier helfen :).

2. I really want to finish my NY-Beauty quilt. It´s time, that this becomes a real quilt in use. I made some real progress in paper piecing with these beautiful blocks last year and my bee-mates from the MoStashBee helped me to get some more blocks for this quilt.

2. Dann möchte ich unbedingt meinen NY-Beauty quilt fertig bekommen, da es Zeit wird, dass diese wunderschönen Blöcke endlich als Quilt im Gebrauch sind. Letztes Jahr habe ich hierbei eine Menge Erfahrung beim Paper Piecing gemacht und meine Bee-Mädels der MoStashBee habe mir geholfen, dass es ein paar Blöcke mehr werden.

 

3. The main and most time consuming project is a secret one. So sorry, that I cannot write more about it, but I can show you some blocks for this project. I just can tell you, that this is a real exciting project and I hope I can mange it. Maybe this will not be finished this quarter, but I have a lot to prepare for it the next two month.

 4. I hope, that I can make some unscheduled things next to my goals like playing with economic blocks or making a bag etc.... Also making progress on my EPP-Long-Term-Project is part of this point. I opened a new flickr-group called EPP-QAL (post on my blog on Feb. 11th), where I want to sew new , WIP or UFO- EPP-projects with you. Let´s get inspired.

4. Na, und dann hoffe ich, dass ich noch ein paar schöne ungeplante und spontane Sachen, wie z.B. die Econimic Blöcke oder eine Tasche nähen kann... Ach ja, ein wenig Fortschritt bei meinem EPP-Lanzeitprojekt wäre auch schön. Dafür habe ich eine neue Flickr-Gruppe eröffnet: EPP-QAL (auf meinem Blog am 11. Feb., wo ich mit Euch neue und schon angefangene Projekte nähen möchte. Lasst euch inspirieren.

I really have to thank Leannes Finish Along 2013, because it really helped me to focus on my WIP´s and UFO´s, so that there is time and space for new things.

Ein großes Danke Schön an Leannes Finish Along 2013. Das hat mir echt richtig geholfen, meinen Fokus auf meine WIP´s und UFO´s zu legen, so dass nun wieder Platz und Zeit für neue Sachen ist.

MoStashBee goes Round 2 with New York Beauties

I cannot tell you how lucky I am beeing part of the MoStashBee. Round 1 is beeing finished this month and I couldn´t resist and signed in for round 2 :).
Every one of my group was fantastic, gave it´s best and made goregous blocks as you can see in the flickr group and we were always in time or much earlier.

Ich kann Euch gar nicht sagen, wie glücklich ich bin, Teil der MoStashBee zu sein. Runde 1 läuft diesen Monate gerade aus und ich konnte nicht widerstehen, auch in Runde 2 dabei zu sein.
Jeder in dieser Bee ist fantastisch, gibt sein Bestes und macht wunderbare Blöcke wie man in der Flickr Gruppe sehen kann. Ganz abgesehen davon, dass jeder pünktlich bis super schnell ist.

Now it´s time for my turn in July for round 2 and again we are going with curves - I love curves and so I thought the Ladies of my new group could help me coming along with my New York Scrappy Beauty Quilt. I Need some more blocks with NY Beauties and with circles only,  hope this will be fun for them. These are the blocks I made so far...

Nun ist es Zeit, für Juli, meinen Monat  in Runde 2 ein Thema vorzugeben und wieder wird es kurvig. Was soll ich machen, ich liebe nun mal Kurven und so denke ich, dass mir die Damen doch bei meinem New York Scrappy Beauty Quilt weiter helfen können. Ich brauche noch ein paar NY-Beauty Blöcke und einige mir Kreisen und ich hoffe, sie werden Spaß damit haben. Here die Blöcke, die ich bisher gemacht habe...
