My Email account was hacked!!!!

Dear friends of the world wide web,

my email account was hacked and is empty - no mails - no adresses.... :((((( (edit: yahoo could repare this, so glad about this)

AND I AM NOT in the Philippines and don´t need any money, so don´t transfer something and don´t answer this mail.

I am so sorry... EDIT: BUT I solved the Problem with a friendly Lady from Yahoo on the phone! changed the Password twice and deleted the email adress of the hacker, he put in my account. CRAZY

Oh my, I was so excited about this. So glad, I could solve this so quickly because you all sent me so many mails and asked about this - THANK YOU!!!

  1. Such a nasty thing to get involved in. I was wondering when I received the email and just wanted to send you a flickr mail to check how you are doing.
    Glad you are OK.
Maybe someone computer savvy can tell you what to do now.

  2. I had no idea, I did not get this mail from "you". The same happened to another friend, so I guess I would have been wary in the first place, but I'm sorry you had to go through such trouble!

  3. I didn't get this email from you but I have had one from my long arm quilter in the past, apparently "arrested in Spain" and needed cash for bail - she is a 70 year old lady with impeccable manners and much better grammar than these notes tend to have so I was very confident it was a scam! Hope you get your account sorted out and back to normal again v soon x

  5. I thought it was a really strange e-mail, and I did not answer it.
I am happy to read that you are fine, but this kind of hacking must be difficult to handle.

  8. When I read your mail, I was at work. I just knew that's not true and I wanted to write about it to you via Flickr after work, but you were faster:)

  9. "I'm freaked out at the moment" würde dann ja sogar noch passen! Echt krass sowas...
