{Big} City Girl QAL Week 3 - Alesund

It´s {Big} City Girl time again and we travel to Alesund in Norway to see Marits lovely City Block. 

Es ist wieder {Big} City Girl-Zeit und wir reisen nach Alesund in Norwegen, um zu sehen, was Marit für einen schönen Block zeigen wird.

Marits block is so cool, it is totally different to all the blocks we have seen so far. She has chosen an Art Nouveau Sunflower for representing Alesund. This is a small town in Norway which burned down in 1904 and was rebuilt all in the Art Nouveau style. She shows wonderful pictures of the architecture of Alesund on her blog. It makes me want to go there immidiately.

Marits block ist so cool, es ist total anders als alle anderen bisherigen Blöcke. Sie hat eine Art Nouveau Sonnenblume als Besonderheit ihrer Stadt gewählt. Diese kleine Stadt in Norwegen ist 1904 komplett niedergebrannt und wurde im Art Nouveau Stil wieder aufgebaut. Marit zeigt wunderschöne Bilder der Architektur von Alesund auf ihrem Blog. Da möchte ich am liebsten sofort hin.

I was only once in Norway and this is long time ago. I think I was 11 or so. My brother (2 years younger) had a football tournament in Oslo and we went there with my family. I really cannot remeber so many things, only that I was a bit afraid of the height of the Holmenkollen. Norway is definitly a place, where I have to go again. I am only a bit afraid of the masses of moskitos in summer ;-).

Ich war erst einmal in Norwegen und das ist auch lange her. Ich glaube ich war 11 oder so, als wir wegen eines Fußballturniers meines Bruders nach Oslo gefahren sind. Ich kann mich auch nicht an so vieles erinnern außer, dass ich es sehr sehr hoch fand auf dem Holmenkollen. Norwegen ist definitiv noch auf meiner Reiseliste... wenn da nur nicht so viele Mücken im Sommer wären ;-).

I finished my Paris block from Syvie last week and started a new Big City Block... but I have no idea if I can make it. You will see my trials.

Letzte Woche habe ich noch den Paris Bloch von Sylvie genäht und einen neuen Big City Girl Block angefangen... ich habe keine Idee, ob ich das hinbekomme, aber ihr werdet es ja dann sehen.
