MondayMakers meets Everydaybag and more....

I had a great week. My first pattern release was a suxcess and I had so many lovely comments for the bag itself. This bag pattern is availabe in English and German on Craftsy and in my Dawanda Shop (or via email). Some of you already got the pattern and I would love to see every single one :).

Ich hatte eine tolle Woche. Meine erste Taschenanleitung ist super gestartet und ich hatte so wunderbare Kommentare in Bezug auf die Tasche. Die Anleitung gibt es auf Craftsy und in meinem Dawanda Shop (oder per email)  Einige von Euch haben die Anleitung ja schon und ich würde mich riesig freuen, jede einzelne Version zu sehen :).

But there were other things last week. Since my daughter joins the German City Sampler QAL, I feel like I am joining too. She would love to stay as close as possible to the original quilt, so Mummy made a list of missing fabrics and asked around in the QAL-Group. As you can see, we have already some Tula Pink fabrics, but not all. What a suxcess. It seams as if we are getting closer and closer to the original :). The list above has to be updated!

Aber es gab auch noch andere Sachen in der letzten Woche. Seit meine Tochter den German City Sampler QAL mitmacht, bin ich auch irgendwie mitten drin. Sie würde gern so nah wie möglich am Original Quilt bleiben und so hat Mami eine Liste erstellt und die fehlenden Stöffchen in der QAL-Gruppe erfragt. Wie ihr sehen könnt, haben wir ja schon ne Menge, aber eben nicht alle. Und es ist schon erfolgreich... Wir kommen den Origianlstoffen immer näher. Die Liste müsste also schon aktualisiert werden!

And here is a Special fabric we are looking for and I asked for it on IG and flickr and it seams as if the quilting community is the best. This frog from the Prince Charming Collection in this colorway seams to be very very rare and People want enormous prices for it - impudent Prices! But it Looks like as if we are going to get some of These frogs from far away :)))) Thanks guys!!!

Und hier ist noch ein sehr spezielles Stöffchen nach dem wir suche und ich habe auf IG und Flickr danach gefragt und es sieht so aus, als ob die Quiltcommunity die Beste ist. Der Frosch in dieser Farbe scheint der meistgesuchteste Frosch der Welt zu sein. Leute wollen enormes Geld dafür - unverschämte Summen! Aber es sieht so aus, als ob wir diese Frösche von weit her bekommen werden :)))). Danke. Leute!!!

And yesterday we met with the Berlin Modern Quilt Guild. I almost forgot that it was that Sunday and not next weel, so I wasn´t well prepared and had no fabric Chosen for the bag we want to sew togetether. I am going to cut it at home for the next Meeting.

Und gestern haben wir uns von der Berlin Modern Quilt Guild getroffen. Ich hätte es fast vergessen, da ich mit nächsten Sonntag gerechnet habe. Daher war ich stofftechnisch auch nicht vorbereitet für die Tasche, die wir gemeinsam nähen wollen. Ich schneide die Teile dann eben zu Hause zum nächsten Mal zu.

We had a lot of fun and as you can see, not all of us made bags. I continued with my SewSewModern Swap item, my daughter joined me and sewed the two blocks of the week for the City Sampler and in the middle of the table you can see an Everydaybag of one of my testers :).

Wir hatten so viel Spass und wie man sehen kann, nicht alle haben Taschen genäht. Ich hab weitergemacht mit meinem SewSewModern Tauschprojekt und meine Tochter ist mitgekommen und hat ihre zwei Blöcke für die Woche für den City Sampler genäht. Tja, und auf dem Tisch sieht man noch ein tolles Exemplar der Everydaybag von einer meiner Testerinnen :).

I am so happy to announce my first bag pattern: The Everyday Bag.

The Everyday Bag is a bag just as the name says: for every day and a MUST HAVE :). It´s small enough to carry around and big enough to store some things in it. The bag is about 8 x 11 x 2.8 inch (20 x 28 x 6.5 cm) and has an adjustable handle. You can sew the bag in different variations.

Die Everyday Bag ist eine Tasche für den täglichen Gebrauch und ein MUSS :) – klein genug, um sie überall mit dabei zu haben – groß genug, um einiges zu verstauen. Sie misst ca. 8 x 11 x 2,8 inch (20 x 28 x 6,5 cm). Die Everyday Bag kann in unterschiedlichen Varianten genäht werden.
