Vintage Bathing Suit Bag

Yesterday evening I really wanted to sew something I could use for my market.... hm, ok, so I thought I could make book covers. Maybe four?
Vielleicht vier?
Well, after two I needed something else and I remembered the beautiful paper piecing pattern by Amy from duringquiettime she gave to me as a present. Ok, now to find a vintage like fabric. I knew I had some of my favorite Denyse Schmidt fabric somewhere, but I had to search a bit for it. The pattern isn't hard to sew, there are only some really small parts, but it comes together very well.

Ok, also ran an die Stoffsuche.

Today I wanted to think about the right bag pattern for this sweet bathing suit, but everything went wrong today. My daughter got sick and I took a half day of from work to be home with her. After making tea and serving cookies she didn't eat, she fell asleep and I had free time. So I started drawing a new bag pattern I had in mind.

I found a perfect lining fabric and couldn't decide what color to take for the zipper first. Grey would be perfect, if I would let the pink hope Valley let shine a bit like piping around the zipper.

Here you go, my Vintage Bathing Suit Bag for the market, love it!

Thanks for stopping by.../ Danke für's Vorbeischauen...

Toll! Ich geh nochmal gucken...

  13. LOVE the bag and the bathing suit. The notebooks too. Do you sell your craft at a fair every week? That's a lot of production. How can you bear to give it up? Do you sometimes make something that you CAN:T give up?
